About me
Larry Jackson has been teaching 5th & 6th grade band for 38 years. He taught at the Willard School in Sanford, ME for 13 and is in his 25th year at Falmouth Middle & Elementary Schools where he currently has a 5th grade band of 105 members. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Master's degree at the American Band College at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. Over the years Larry has been guest conductor at 6th grade band festivals in districts 1, 3 & 4. He has presented workshops on 5th grade band at the state and local level. He is excited to share his experiences to help 5th grade band feeder programs flourish.
