About me
Dr. Kyle Nielsen is the Head of Choral Activities and Director of the Osher School of Music at the University of Southern Maine. Nielsen conducts the award-winning Chamber Singers, University Chorale, and leads the Master of Music in Choral Conducting degree program. He has presented scholarship at regional and national ACDA and Chorus America conferences, with recent appearances as a conductor and clinician at the 2024 Maine ACDA Fall Conference, 2024 VCDA District V Honor Choir, 2023 VMEA Conference with the SVU Chamber Singers,2022 Utah MEA State Choir Festival, and most importantly with high school choirs throughout Southern Maine!
