About me
Jason Priest lives in Hampden, Maine where he is the director of bands at Hampden Academy. In addition to his duties at Hampden Academy, Jason is also the Executive Officer of the 195th Army National Guard Band, where he conducts the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, and Jazz Ensemble.
Jason earned his Bachelor’s in Music Education and Music Performance from the University of Maine in Orono where he studied with Dr. Dan Barrett. Jason also earned his Master’s in Euphonium Performance from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where he studied with Michael Colburn. Jason currently resides in Hampden with his wife Molly and their two children Josie and George.
