About me
Cameron R. Siegal, Ph. D., is a PreK–5 music teacher in the Dartmouth, Massachusetts, public schools and an adjunct faculty member at Rhode Island College. He holds degrees from University of Oregon, Florida State University, Western Oregon University, and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Dr. Siegal’s research on perceived belonging in music ensembles, Brazilian samba as community music, and perceptions of quantized music has been featured at international, national, and regional conferences and in music education journals. Dr. Siegal presented the keynote address on the neuroscience of belonging in music at the Vermont Music Educators Association 2023 Conference.
