2025 Maine Music Educators Association Conference

William “Bill” Buzza earned his BM in Music Education from the University of Southern Maine studying with Bill Street and Peter Martin and his MS Ed in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. Bill teaches at Edward Little HS in Auburn, Maine where he conducts the concert, pep and jazz bands, multiple levels of guitar classes, and is the Fine Arts department chair. Bill was named a State Finalist for the 2011 Maine Teacher of the Year and was featured in a 2020 National Public Radio story about how band rehearsals were adapting in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. He resides in Auburn with his wife, Beth LaBrie.
